FIFA World Cup 2026 – Competition Terms and Conditions
1. OrganiserThis competition is organised by Hyundai Motor Sweden AB, company reg. no. 559441-2529, Telegrafgatan 8A, 169 72 Solna (hereinafter the "Organiser"). Travel and accommodation components are fulfilled through a third-party travel agency appointed by the Organiser. 2. Campaign periodThe competition runs from 28 May 2026 at 00:01 CET to 7 June 2026 at 20:00 CET (the "Campaign Period"). Entries submitted outside this window will not be accepted. 3. The Organiser reserves the right to verify eligibility at any stage and disqualify any entry that does not meet the criteria set out above or otherwise breaches these Terms and Conditions. 4. How to enter – entry channels and lottery ticket allocationParticipation is free of charge. No purchase is required to enter the competition. Participants may earn lottery tickets through the following actions, available through multiple entry channels during the Campaign Period: 4.1 Entry channelsParticipants may enter through any of the following routes:
All entry channels direct participants to the same registration form and competition pool. The entry method does not affect the prize draw. 4.2 Lottery ticket allocationEach registered participant receives lottery tickets based on completed actions:
Ticket accumulation: Tickets are awarded at the highest tier achieved. Completing a test drive (10 tickets) is the maximum allocation and includes the booking step. A participant who also subscribes to the newsletter receives 1 additional ticket, for a combined maximum of 11 tickets per person. The newsletter subscription tier is a standalone entry route for participants who do not book or complete a test drive. Free entry: Newsletter sign-up is available as a free and genuinely accessible entry route with no purchase required. This option is presented prominently on the competition landing page. Participants who enter via newsletter only receive 1 lottery ticket and are fully eligible to win all prizes. Test drive booking and completing a test drive is also free of charge. Each participant may only register once. Duplicate registrations using the same contact details will be removed. Test drive completions must be confirmed by the dealership. Unverifiable or fraudulent entries will be disqualified. 4.3 Social media contributionsShould you be one of the winners to the prizes, we encourage you to share your prize and experience with your friends and family, e.g. on social media. Should you make any social media posts publicly available, we may re-post such posts (only if permitted and in accordance with the terms of the specific social media platform, e.g. Instagram). We also welcome you to reach out to us, should you wish us to re-post your posts. Please note that making any postings or sharing is not a requirement to participate in the competition or be awarded any of the prizes. 5. Prizes5.1 Grand Prize – one (1) winnerOne grand prize will be awarded to one drawn winner, covering two (2) persons (the winner and one guest):
Approximate total indicative prize value: SEK 99,335. All prize components are subject to availability at the time of booking. The Organiser reserves the right to substitute any component with one of equal or greater value. 5.2 Secondary Prizes – five (5) winnersFive secondary prizes will each consist of: one (1) Hyundai FIFA World Cup 2026™ TRIONDA Replica Official Match Ball. Approximate retail value: SEK 1 200 per item. Secondary prize winners will be drawn from the remaining pool after the grand prize winner has been removed. All prizes are non-transferable and have no cash alternative. Prizes must be accepted as described. 6. Prize taxationImportant notice to participants: Any tax liability (e.g. "vinstskatt" in Sweden) is the sole responsibility and to be paid by the winner. For more information regarding any applicable tax liability, please refer to the Swedish Tax Authority (Skatteverket). Please note that the indicative value of each prize is set out above. 7. Winner selection – digital draw7.1 Draw date and methodWinners will be selected by a verifiable digital random draw on 8 June 2026. The draw will use a publicly auditable random number generator to select winning ticket reference numbers from the complete pool of valid entries. Each lottery ticket corresponds to one unique entry reference in the draw pool. One (1) grand prize winner and five (5) secondary prize winners will be drawn in sequence. The grand prize winner is removed from the pool before secondary winners are drawn. The draw will be recorded with a timestamp and retained internally for audit purposes. The draw operates against anonymised ticket reference numbers only. Personal data (name, email, date of birth) is held in a separate lookup table and linked to a winning reference only after the draw is complete. No personal data is published as part of the draw output. The draw log is retained for a maximum of 12 months for audit purposes and is not shared externally. Winner identity is disclosed only via direct notification. 8. Winner notification and confirmation timeline
These deadlines are non-negotiable due to booking and supplier constraints. The Organiser cannot guarantee prize availability if details are not received on time. 9. Grand Prize – winner responsibilitiesBy accepting the grand prize, the winner and their guest confirm and agree to the following:
10. Bookings, cancellations and changesHotel accommodation and match tickets are booked and invoiced immediately upon winner confirmation and are non-refundable once placed with the supplier. The winner bears full responsibility for any costs arising from cancellations, changes, or no-shows after booking. Flights are booked once winner travel details have been received. The winner will be informed of the confirmed flight cost and routing before booking is placed. Flight availability and pricing are not guaranteed. Match cancellation or postponement: In the event that the Sweden vs Japan match is cancelled, postponed, or moved by FIFA, refund terms are governed solely by the relevant ticketing supplier. Any refunds received from the supplier will be passed on to the winner net of any non-recoverable fees, except where the Organiser is prevented (in whole or in part) to do so under applicable legislation. The Organiser’s liability in this event is limited to passing through recoverable amounts. The Organiser accepts no liability for travel disruptions, force majeure events, airline changes, denied boarding, or denied US entry. 11. Limitation of LiabilityTo the fullest extent permitted by applicable Swedish law, the Organiser accepts no liability for:
Nothing in these Terms limits the Organiser’s liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be lawfully excluded under Swedish law. 12. Data Protection & Privacy (GDPR)To participate in the competition, you will need to provide certain personal data to us (e.g. in order for us to administer the competition). FIFA brand and sponsorshipHyundai Motor Company is an official FIFA partner. Use of FIFA marks, the FIFA World Cup 2026™ designation and related assets in connection with this competition is subject to FIFA's brand and usage guidelines. Participants and winners have no rights or claims against FIFA in connection with this competition. 14. General Provisions

Force MajeureThe Organiser shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from any event or circumstance beyond the Organiser's reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government actions or restrictions, sanctions, travel bans, strikes or industrial action, supplier insolvency (each a "Force Majeure Event"). In the event of a Force Majeure Event, the Organiser may, at its sole discretion:
The Organiser shall use reasonable efforts to notify affected participants as soon as practicable. No compensation shall be payable by the Organiser in respect of any loss, inconvenience, or disappointment arising from a Force Majeure Event. 16. Governing LawThese Terms are governed exclusively by Swedish law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish courts. |
